This packet demonstrates the structure of a World Proof. It is an original
Arcanea Academy sample and is not part of Arcanea canon.

## WORLD_RULES.md

### World promise

A rain-bound civic mystery about who may shape public memory—and what a city
loses when private experience becomes shared history.

### Binding rule

Memories form as glass fruit only when they are freely given at a witness well.
Opening a fruit copies the memory to everyone present, but the donor loses one
small sensory detail from it. A copied memory cannot be returned.

### Story pressure

The city needs shared memories to settle public disputes. Every harvest can
also erase the texture that made a memory personally true.

## VISUAL_DNA.md

- Materials: rain-polished copper, black basalt, smoky glass fruit, wet paper.
- Palette: deep moss, oxidized green, amber work light, mineral cream.
- Light: low lamps reflected in water; no luminous sky or decorative glow.
- Form: stepped orchard terraces descending below the archive floor.
- Avoid: generic castles, magic circles, floating islands, ornamental runes.

## PROOF_SCENE.md

An apprentice registrar carries the final memory of a flooded neighborhood to
the witness well. The council needs the account before authorizing repairs. The
donor realizes that opening the fruit will erase the sound of her brother's
voice from her own recollection. The scene ends before she chooses, with the
unopened fruit resting between the public ledger and her hand.

The scene proves the rule by forcing a choice. It does not explain the system in
a lore dump.

## NEXT_TRIAL.md

Write a 400-word version of the proof scene. The apprentice must make a choice,
the memory rule must visibly cause a consequence, and the ending must leave one
specific image that can guide a later visual brief. Review the result for
continuity, rights uncertainty, and generic fantasy drift.
